Rating System

Well we both have watched a ton of movies over the course of our lives and we will add reviews as we watch new films and also review previously seen films. Our reviews will be based on a 1-10 rating for each of the following criteria:

1. Acting / Dialogue: Is the dialogue fluid, sincere, and realistic within the confines of the film? Do the actor's expressions and emotions fit the scene?

2. Cinematography / Effects / Music: What is the audio / visual experience provided by the movie? Are the sets, costumes, and effects believable? Do they enhance the experience? Is the music memorable or impactful?

3. Plot Originality / Effectiveness: Is the film original? If it is formulaic, does it work?

4. Viewing Experience: Does the film keep the viewer’s interest for the duration? Are you entertained? Does the film achieve the desired effect on the viewer? (Is the horror movie scary? Is the comedy funny? Is the drama engaging?) Do you think about the film after it’s completion?

The scale is as follows:
10: Pristine
9: Great
8: Very Good
7: Good
6: Above Average
5: Neutral
4: Below Average
3: Poor
2: Terrible
1: Unwatchable

The final rating will be based on an average of each sections score.
